NYT shows poor insight about LAT

Not to belabor Kevin's earlier post, but this morning's piece about the supposed irrelevancy of the LAT sure could have used another pair of eyes - preferably ones that have some perspective on L.A. and the local media scene. Bad enough using two or three Times haters as the basis for the piece, but the error is compounded by trying to conflate the woes of the Times with the health of the city at large. Very surprised that this one would get through.
