It's another world up there -- on the public stair streets of Echo Park. Lucky for the curious: Some of the houses that line the staircase thoroughfares will be open to prying eyes on the Echo Park Historical Society's annual home tour fund-raiser, which will be Sunday, Nov. 11, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event begs for comfortable shoes.
