Martin has a reputation as a photographer of sea vessels (among other subjects): derelect ships as well as sea-going ones. This half-submerged trailer -- illustrating a review of Marisa Silver's new novel -- is an elegant variation on the theme of lost ships. Here's to hoping they don't call back from the deep a vessel like this when they drain Echo Park Lake next year (or the year after).
