Patt MorrisonKPCC is giving Times op-ed columnist (and regular station fill-in) Patt Morrison a two-week run with her own talk show at 7 p.m. "PM with Patt Morrison" will air for an hour each weeknight beginning Monday, with an election theme. From the KPCC website, which also carries her picture:

For two weeks beginning October 18th, join Patt and a dazzling array of high profile guests for the day's "second look" at the issues you have decided are most vitally "at stake" in this election. We’ll want you to join the fray on the air, but right now is the time to tell us what you think is "at stake" on November 2nd...

Tell us which topic heads your list and we'll do our best to include it on our top 10 list of "What's At Stake" issues to be sliced and diced with fierce precision on KPCC’s brand new evening forum for news & talk: "P.M." -- ten one-hour live programs hosted by Patt Morrison.

PM with Patt already has its own corner of the KPCC website.

1:35 PM Sat | A front-page story in the L.A. Times on the opening of KPCC's new studios in Pasadena says that next up for the NPR station is "a major expansion that its board of trustees hopes will make KPCC the hub of a regional constellation of public radio stations and a major source of news and information in Southern California."
