The onetime rising star at Telemundo whose career burned up in the wreckage of an affair with Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has taken the familiar post-TV route — AM radio. Tomorrow's edition of Hoy will report, in Spanish, that Salinas is now a co-anchor of "Hoy por Hoy" on 690 XTRA AM in Los Angeles. The shows airs Monday through Friday.

"She is with me since yesterday (Monday), but I can’t tell you much because there will be something official," said Gerardo Lorenz, who heads the morning show that Salinas joined.
