waxmanbook.jpgRep. Henry Waxman talks to guest host Marc Cooper on KCRW's Politics of Culture at 2:30 p.m. today. The main topic is the congressman's new book, "The Waxman Report: How Congress Really Works," but I'm told Waxman also has some choice words about the dysfunction in Sacramento. Call me crazy, but I suspect health care reform will come up too, and probably climate change too.

Program note: I'll be hosting "Politics of Culture" on September 8. The subject will be Los Angeles books but you'll have to wait to know more.

Add KCRW: Tom Christie of the LA Weekly was on Which Way, L.A.? last night talking about the LACMA film program, and Howard Blume of the L.A. Times was the media rep in a discussion of LAUSD school management.
