Duvall gets a spanking

No surprise that the sordid tale of now-former OC assemblyman Michael Duvall has gone viral. Just a few minutes ago, a google search brought back thousands of hits.

We've got "Andy Rooney" weighing in, a piece in the Capitol Weekly, a post from the LA Weekly pointing out that Duvall's woes have topped President Obama's heath care speech, a post on the Jewish Journal's God Blog and -- you knew this was inevitable -- a nickname poll from Gustavo Arellano at OC Weekly.

Meanwhile, as Mark Lacter points out, Duvall's now insisting he was all talk and no action.
