KCRW and NPR to partner on cultural events in L.A.

catherine-keener-2002.jpgThe series of conversations will take place before an audience at NPR West in Culver City and be posted later on the web, but aren't planned for broadcast on the air. First up, on June 22, is actress Catherine Keener talking with Elvis Mitchell, host of "The Treatment" on KCRW. It's a web traffic play for both the station and NPR, but there will be about 100 tickets on public sale for $35 through KCRW.com starting at 10 a.m. this morning.
