Centered down below Palm Springs like the recent swarm, but certainly felt in Los Angeles. 4:53 was the official time.

* Downgrade: Originally a 5.9, within 15 minutes of the quake it was reset as a magnitude 5.4. The location is also a bit west of the Salton Sea in the mountains, so not Imperial Valley. USGS
