Headline only off by 125%

lat-error-ucfees.jpgThe president of the University of California proposed today to raise student fees — California's name for tuition — by 8%. That's a pretty big jump, especially on top of a fee hike already imposed for this academic year. Not big enough for the L. A. Times website, apparently. The headline leading the site, shown here, more than doubles the hike to 18%.
