Sucking up to Schwab

This is all circumstantial evidence, mind you, but here goes:

--Last week, Charles Schwab pulled its sponsorship from a CNBC documentary on the porn industry, according to Mediaite.

--This morning, posts Chris Roush at Talking Biz News, CNBC's Joe Kernan falls over himself to praise the company. "Schwab is a fine, fine company and a fine individual...and quite a sponsor for us," he said.

Then, when the show goes to break, guess what sponsor shows up first? Yep, it's Chucky Schwab. Tell me that Kernan was just trying to be a wise-ass and that's all there was to it. Please, tell me that...
