KPCC going for a ride

Talk of the City with Kitty Felde on KPCC broadcasts all this week from the road, traveling up the coast on Highway 1. The show will stop in Ventura, Santa Ynez Valley, Guadalupe, San Luis Obispo and Cambria and cover a couple dozen California stories. The entire list is here. Last Friday, Felde intervewed David Brancaccio on his final day as the host of Marketplace. Audio is here. The show's new host is David Brown.

Also on the air this week: Monday on To The Point on KCRW, Warren Olney explores the topic: Does the road to Jerusalem lead through Baghdad?...Life & Times on KCET plans to run features Monday night on Larry Flynt, and Tuesday night on "Day to Day," the NPR show produced in Culver City...as mentioned in the weekend roundup, Dana Gioia will be on "Politics of Culture" Tuesday on KCRW....Columnist Robert Scheer and Steve Wayward of the American Enterprise Institute debate the recall Thursday on Uprising, the 8 a.m. daily show on KPFK.
