Barbara Becnel, the journalist who has reported on and collaborated with Crips founder Stanley "Tookie" Williams, is the guest this Sunday on Barbara Osborn's "Deadline L.A." media show on KPFK (90.7 FM, 1 p.m.). Becnel is played by Lynn Whitfield in an original TV movie, "Redemption," that will be on the FX channel on Sunday (* reviewed by Carina Chocano in today's L.A. Times).
