An email circulating to unpaid staff at KPFK says that Sean Heitkemper, former station manager at KKJZ (the Long Beach jazz station), is being introduced tonight as the new general manager of the Pacifica Radio station. (The email spelled his name wrong, but hey, it's KPFK.) Jim Lafferty, executive director of the National Lawyers Guild in L.A., filled in as station manager after that bout of expensive nastiness involving former GM Eva Georgia.
