NPR shows blog their demise

Here are posts at the blogs of Los Angeles-based National Public Radio shows Day to Day (posted by producer Steve Profitt) and News & Notes (host Farai Chideya) about their cancellations. The ax, which we began reporting last week, became official this morning, followed by an afternoon memo. Activist and blogger Jasmyne Cannick is organizing an African American community protest-by-email campaign over News & Notes.
