KPFK moves The Car Show again

But only a little bit. Today's show is the last one at start at 1 p.m. Next Saturday The Car Show moves to a noon-to-1 slot on Saturdays, writes co-host John Retsek.

Retsek's relationship with this site reminds me of the folks who chat endlessly with the postal window clerk or bank teller -- casting serious doubts as to whether anybody else will seriously listen to him/her. Of course, most postal clerks (in my experience, at least) keep said conversations to theselves.

No problem with your choosing to run his whimperings, but is he coming here because you and your readers are overwhelmingly interested in KPFK's program schedule, or because nobody else is?

Or maybe both! Who knows? I can tell you this, if Retsek has been whimpering it hasn't been to me. I began posting about The Car Show and KPFK's other program changes a month or so ago as a listener who cared what happened to the show. Then I started hearing from people who listened to KPFK for the non-political shows and wanted to know what was up. I think I got more personal email from readers about that than about any other topic. So this post today is just a minor update for them. No other significance implied. It's a blog, ya know.

Question answered. Fair enough.
