NY Observer does Sandra

Alexandra Jacobs summarizes the recent Sandra Tsing Loh dustup in her "Palmy Days" column. The only factoid I recognized as new is that KPCC will pay Loh $175 a week for her commentaries, up by $25 from what KCRW paid.

And speaking of the Loh brouhaha, her friend Cathy Seipp's "From the Left Coast" column at the National Review Online complains that two recent opinion-page pieces reflect "longstanding leftist orthodoxy" at the L.A. Times.
