INT. THE ORDER - DUVANE’S STUDY - NIGHT

Duvane paces back and forth. He skims through documents before throwing them into the burning fireplace. Rachel lies on the couch, high as a kite. Sydney bursts through the door, escorted by Robert. He points at Rachel, who MOANS in fear.

SYDNEY
That mad, fookin’ bitch. That bitch killed me.

Sydney bleeds from his gut. He topples onto Duvane.

SYDNEY
Help me. I can’t go to the hospital!

Duvane signals to Robert, who helps Sydney into an overstuffed chair. Duvane presses a button on his desk phone.

DUVANE
Get Bonnie here right away. Tell her to bring her bag.
SYDNEY
She killed me. Snuffed me right out.
DUVANE
What are you talking about, Sydney? Who wounded you?

Sydney looks at Rachel, a younger version of Celeste. He’s growing delirious.

SYDNEY
That bitch.

And he passes out.

INT. SHERIFF STATION HOLDING CELL - NIGHT

Napolitano sits in a cell by himself. The laces have been removed from his shoes. Delassandro flips through pages of a case file on the other side of the bars.

NAPOLITANO
What do you mean you couldn’t find her?
DALLESANDRO
She wasn’t at The Order. I had my men run through that place pretty good. Nobody said they’d seen her.
NAPOLITANO
And you believed them?
DALLESANDRO
You keep forgetting, friend, they’re not the ones charged with murder, battery and evading arrest.

Napolitano’s bitter glare speaks volumes.
