DUVANE
When I learn something of value to law enforcement, I try to be a good citizen.
NAPOLITANO
And in return?
DUVANE
Sometimes he helps me. Like bringing you here.

Napolitano waits for more. Duvane takes a paper from his robes and passes it to him -- the methane map.

DUVANE
I believe you've seen this...
NAPOLITANO
Yeah, I've seen it. Last guy who had it wound up dead.
DUVANE
I heard about that.
(shifting)
Sphagnum -- do you know that word? It's a kind of peat moss. Watch.

He points a remote control upward. The plasma screens show a mummified man being autopsied by white-smocked doctors.

DUVANE
Tollund Man. Found in a peat bog, twenty-two hundred years after his burial. Sphagnum is a natural antibacterial. A preservative. The body was so perfectly intact that doctors could identify his last meal.
NAPOLITANO (O.S.)
And peat bogs emit methane.
DUVANE
Exactly right. Your quantum mind is remarkably harmonic!

Duvane uses the remote to flip the video back to the cosmos.

DUVANE
We have bogs in our region too. Deep underground. Sphagnum, as it turns out.
