Deland peers inside the car, sees Celeste.
DELAND
This just keeps getting better.
NAPOLITANO
I found her at the morgue, saying goodbye to her husband. I'll fill you in tonight.
DELAND
No. This has gone as far as it can go outside channels. You keep bouncing around the city, you're gonna screw up even more than you have already.
NAPOLITANO
Well, I could use your interrogation skills. Why don't you come help me get her fixed up, then we can hear the rest of her story.
DELAND
I'm not finished with your version yet either.
NAPOLITANO
Everything's on the table. Just follow me.
DELAND
Okay, but this is new ground. Any evasive action and you will be in lockup this time.
NAPOLITANO

Deland moves off. Napolitano waits for him.
CELESTE
Interrogation?
NAPOLITANO
Time for the whole truth and nothing but.
He looks over at her. She cannot meet his gaze. He returns his eyes to the road and puts the car in drive.
