LARRY
Is this some kind of joke?

Suddenly, a blinding flash of light -- HIGH BEAMS pointed directly in his eyes. Squinting, LARRY gradually makes out the shape of a futuristic looking vehicle, unlike any car he’s ever seen. The lid of the vehicle slides open, revealing the dapper driver, SYDNEY PIZER, 60, a gentleman of impressive girth and elegant bearing.

SYDNEY
Larry, old boy. Hop in.
LARRY
Sydney?
SYDNEY
Quick like a bunny. Come come.

Larry approaches apprehensively, touches the car.

LARRY
It’s... finished?
SYDNEY
Just a quick spin, laddie. We can talk in the car.
LARRY
Looks like it’s built for speed.
SYDNEY
You know my motto: “We’ve all got to go sometime. Might as well go fast.”

Larry notices the two men moving closer, as if to block any getaway. He screws up his nerve.

LARRY
All right then. Where to?
