She had some scam going with Omar. Itís not bad enough sheís jealous that I work, she has to go after my boyfriends too.
NAPOLITANO
She knew Omar before the Brentwood party? Before Saturday?
RACHEL
She knew him since she walked in on us in the guest house a few weeks ago. I guess she liked what she saw.

As Napolitano processes this Ė

RACHEL
Canít we just pull over and talk? Donít get on the freeway -- unless... We could go back to the house. Mommy wouldnít mind.

She puts her hand on his thigh, almost innocent but not quite. The freeway entrance is coming up. Napolitano parks at the curb and leaves the motor running.

RACHEL

NAPOLITANO

She nods alluringly and moves closer. Damn if he doesnít lower his face and soften just a touch. She parts her lips and they move to within inches of each other. Then he takes her arm.

NAPOLITANO

RACHEL

NAPOLITANO
