NAPOLITANO
At least I'm still walking around. More than I can say for Larry.
CELESTE
You know I had nothing to do with Larry's murder.
NAPOLITANO
Do I?

He catches something in the mirror and makes a sudden turn.

CELESTE
What? Are we being followed?

Napolitano sees a cop car turn after him and gain ground.

NAPOLITANO
You just keep talking.
CELESTE
(panicking)
You don't understand -- they already killed Omar. They won't stop until they shut me up too!
NAPOLITANO
It's the cops, Celeste -- not that they're gonna treat you any better.

The black-and-white settles in behind him, FLASHES its BUBBLE-LIGHT and SIREN.

NAPOLITANO
Great.

He pulls over. A cop emerges from the driver's side. Another one rides shotgun.

NAPOLITANO
Don't say anything unless you're asked directly. In that case, say as little as possible.

He glances again at the mirror and registers a shock of recognition.

NAPOLITANO
Well, I'll be damned.

Deland approaches the car. Napolitano powers down his window.

NAPOLITANO
Don't you guys have any work to do?
